That Petrol Emotion were undoubtedly one of the best 80s indie bands. Manic Pop Thrill and Babble are strong albums.

This lot were absolutely diamond live.

Loving the atmospheric arrangement, particularly the haunting piano. I'm assuming that Ren Harvieu covered this song in the aftermath of her serious accident, it makes perfect sense and she makes every word count.

Longest intro ever? I don't know how it doesn't get boring, but it doesn't. Just love the way you're made to wait for the meat at the end.

Hugely underrated band.

I was there. Strange gig. They gave the impression of having been let out for the night to do something they weren’t really supposed to be doing. Linda, particularly, gave the impression of someone who was looking for the exits and hoping there was a fast car waiting out the back with the engine running.
